The premise of the book seemed a little hokey at first, but I definitely grew to like the story more as I went along. The plot and characters were both interesting and there were plenty of twists and turns in the action. This book follows along in a typical romance novel style.
Having read other books by this author and loving the way she brings the characters romance and story line together I couldn't wait to read this book.
I found this book to be a fantastic read that had me laughing at the witty remarks and turning the page to find out how their story would unfold
Can't wait to read the next book in the series of the Brotherhood
Enjoyed this book as much as Lisa Cooke's others. I loved the mixture of romance, history and suspense. Can't wait until she writes more!
EMMA's DILEMMA by Lisa Cooke is a fast-paced, delightful Victorian romp of mistaken/fake identities. I enjoyed meeting Emma and watching her interact with Cage. Emma's naivete is a nice contract to Cage's protectiveness.
Whether she's writing about river boat gamblers - TEXAS HOLD HIM, country mid-wives - A MID-WIFE CRISIS or Victorian maids masquerading as countesses - Ms Cooke's historical always satisfy.
I'm looking forward to reading the next book in Ms Cooke's Brotherhood series - AN HEIR TO SPARE.
So many secrets. I loved the book, it kept me turning pages. I could not put it down. This is the second book I have from the aurthur.
Just finished Emma's Dilemma and think it's Cooke's best romance to date. I loved the interactions between Emma and Cage. The pacing was great and the plot twists were well thought out. I'm looking forward to book number 3 in The Brotherhood Series.
